This compilation album is the work of 'The Year Shoegaze Broke' facebook page by group of musicians and music lovers who wants to expand the Shoegazer community (and related genres) in Thailand. Our goal for this album is to create set of original songs by music lovers who has the same direction towards music.

With this COVID-19 situation, we saw the opportunity when most of us got nothing to do since the quarantine, so we started this project, that any DIY musicians in Thailand got the chance to participate (under some regulations). For now, our focus is on Shoegaze, Post-Punk, Dream Pop and Noise Rock, which is still unpopular in Thailand, we hope to contribute something to the scene that takes this kind of music to wider audiences and this album is the answer for that.
